Making sure that patients feel comfortable from the second they walk in the door all the way through being checked out at the end is something that’s massively important to us here. We start by you walk in the door and you’re greeted right away with a smile and then a conversation and a genuine talking to as person and not just a number walking through the door. As far as procedurally of when I’m actually working on somebody, I took some extra training to be able to give really gentle injections.
Now I want to say painless but that would be a lot to promise someone after all you are coming to the dentist. But to be able to give as close to painless injections as humanly possible, explaining the procedure to someone ahead of time, letting them know exactly what we’re doing, what you should experience, what kind of sensations that might be, and maybe that’s something as simple as hey you know this might vibrate a little bit or you might feel a little pressure here but letting them know what’s coming so they can anticipate it and really making sure that there are no surprises while we’re working and just being honest with people of painting a picture that is letting them know the expectation before we even begin.
