No, teeth whitening doesn’t last forever. A whitening treatment can keep your teeth bright for a few months to a year or more. The length of time that teeth remain white after whitening depends on the treatment, the condition of your teeth, and your habits. For example, if you eat and drink things that can stain your teeth, your teeth will not stay as white as those who avoid these substances.
The teeth whitening process is not painful; however, some patients experience mild teeth sensitivity to hot and cold afterward. We use only the highest-quality whitening treatment that is specially formulated to reduce sensitivity, so any discomfort will be minimal and temporary. If you do experience teeth sensitivity, it will usually go away on its own shortly after your treatment is over.
